First Class
What to Expect at a Toddler Gymnastics Class
This independent class is designed for ages 3-5. Current sessions run about 50-60 minutes and build movement, listening, coordination, and class habits.
How the class usually moves
The coach can change the order and activity for the group. These blocks explain the class rhythm without promising a fixed minute schedule.
Arrival and exploration
The child sees the space, meets the coach, and begins with a simple movement activity.
Group warm-up
Songs, shapes, or guided movement help children follow the coach and join the group.
Movement stations
Age-based stations practice balance, coordination, climbing, jumping, and body awareness.
Cool-down and class close
Stretching or a short group activity gives the class a clear ending routine.
What parents may see
Your child may want to observe before fully participating — that's completely normal. Instructors provide gentle guidance rather than forcing engagement.
Some children need repeated visits before they join every activity. One first class is a useful introduction, not a complete measure of future progress.
The approach blends playful learning with basic motor skill development. Everything is age-appropriate and designed to be fun.
What to wear and bring
- •Socks are mandatory — no exceptions. Everyone must wear socks on the training carpets.
- •Comfortable clothes: tight leggings or stretchy shorts, a snug t-shirt or tank top.
- •Hair tied back in a ponytail.
- •No jewelry — remove all jewelry to prevent injuries.
- •Follow the arrival time and preparation details in the confirmed trial message.
- •Please use the restroom before class begins.
Shoe and sock policy
Shoes are prohibited on the training carpets. As soon as you step off the carpets, put your shoes back on. Do not step off the carpets in socks and then return — this keeps the training environment clean and safe for everyone.
